DZIKR KERIS

 

This keris has a "pamor" (forged-width-through pattern) representing "Dzikr" on both surface.

On the first surface of the Dzikr Keris, a gold plated carving sentence says:

 لا إله إلا الله

Laa ilaaha illalaah (There is absolutely no deity worthy of worship except Allah)

 while on the opposite surface, a gold plated carving sentence says:

 محمد رسول الله

Mohamed ar-Rasool Allah (Mohamed (saws) is the Messenger of Allah)

It has an artistic "warangka" (sheath):

and also an artistic "hulu" (hilt):

 

This keris is made during Majapahit era, around 500 years old.
